Eyes can be strained when blood circulation to the eye becomes poor, reducing the oxygen and nutrients carried in the blood to the lashes. For beautiful strong lashes, here are some daily tips to relieve eye fatigue:
- Massage Around the Eyes
Using the pads of your thumbs or your knuckles, gently press the muscles around your eyes. Press and hold for 3 to 5 seconds, then slowly release. Repeat as necessary to alleviate fatigue. - Eye Exercises
Move your eyes up and down, and rotate them in circles two to three times a day. These exercises help to relax the muscles around your eyes and improve circulation. - Warm Compress for Eyes
Soak a towel in water, wring it out thoroughly, and heat it in the microwave for about 40 seconds. Check the temperature, and place a warm compress over your eyes. The warmth improves blood circulation, relaxes muscle tension, and eye strain, and helps you feel more relaxed.
