A fresh start on my weight loss journey that doesn’t end in rebounding.
I actually began my weight loss journey last year, unfortunately, I ended up putting the weight back on. Instead of being discouraged, I decided to try a different approach and read a book on how to lose weight without rebounding. I’d like to share what I learned and my experiences.
- A Healthy Diet
The foundation of a successful weight loss journey lies in eating a balanced diet. In order to lose weight without feeling starved and deprived it is important to have a good balance of high-quality proteins, healthy fats, and plenty of high-fiber vegetables.
- Proper Exercise
A common reason many rebound is when they jump in to exercise that is too extreme. Three to four times a week incorporate exercises that is appropriate for your current fitness level. This will aid in losing weight in a healthy manner.
- Managing Stress
The key to successful weight loss is in self care. When we are under stress it can lead to overeating and excessive drinking. It’s important to find ways to relax.
- Getting Quality Sleep
Sleep is essential to your body’s recovery and successful weight loss. Getting enough rest helps you make better decisions to control your appetite and sustain your energy.
- Self-Acceptance
Do not aim for perfection. Appreciate and love the body you’re in and celebrate the small wins. All of this will lead to long term success.
