“Perm Styles I Recommend” by YUMI
03.06.2025

I'm Yumi, a stylist at Viangehair FUGA. Have you ever had a perm before? If so, what kind? And if not, what kind of perm would you like to try?
There are two main types of perms:
Cold Perm (Gold Perm) – This type uses only chemicals, without heat. It causes less damage, takes less time, and creates curls that are more visible when the hair is wet.
Hot Perm – This method uses heat to set the curls, making them longer-lasting and more defined when the hair is dry.
For the upcoming spring season, I recommend a natural perm that adds subtle movement to the ends. However, soft, natural perms can sometimes be tricky to maintain at home. To make styling easier, it’s often a good idea to get a slightly stronger curl than you originally planned. The ideal curl strength depends on your hair type and length, so let’s chat and find the perfect style for you. A perm allows you to adjust your look with the styling you do at home. You can enhance the curls for a more defined look or style them for a softer loose wave. Without any product, permed hair can look dry and dull. Always use a leave-in treatment or balm to add shine and keep your curls looking their best.
