How to Create Natural Waves by YUMI
07.08.2024

Hello! I’m Yumi, your VIANGEHAIR stylist.
How do you style your hair in the morning? Today, I’d like to talk about how to create natural waves. Since everyone has different hair types, I’ll speak on the two main categories.
For Straight Hair:
For those with straight hair, the easiest way to create waves is by using a curling iron or straightening iron. However, using these tools can sometimes be challenging. An easy alternative is to wash your hair at night and after drying it, loosely braid your hair and sleep with it braided. Another method is to divide your hair into two sections, twist each section, and tie them into buns before going to bed. You’ll wake up with cute, natural waves. the key is to do this right after washing and drying your hair.
For Curly Hair:
For those with naturally curly hair, the type of curls can vary greatly, and the way waves appear will differ. As someone with wavy hair, I’d like to share my go-to method. While many people wash their hair in the morning, I prefer to wash mine at night. In the morning, I wet the mid-lengths and ends of my hair, avoiding the roots. After lightly brushing through, I scrunch my hair from the bottom up to bring out its natural waves. I then apply CRES’s Moelle Jell Balm evenly to the dampened sections. Allowing it to air dry results in very natural-looking waves, which I highly recommend.
Give these methods a try and see which works best for you!
