I don’t have a lot of time for hobbies, so I try to find things that I can do at any time, that are useful in the future, and that stimulate me. I believe the purpose of a hobby is to use your brain in a different way. Usually, I use my brain mainly for creative production such as design, sales projects and human resources. Learning to code is the best way to use my brain for the opposite purpose, which is to organize data into something. Once I start writing code it will be about creating something, however I am still a beginner so I am learning to input data. I’ve been told that creating something is the fastest way to learn how to code, but I’m focusing on data entry first. I am eager to create something of my own, but I feel that would be using the same region of my brain as usual, so I’m taking the time to read and take online courses. I’m hoping that when I’m an old man my knowledge of coding can be of use to the world. I would like to continue studying code as a lifelong hobby for as long as I have my sight and can move my fingers.
