This is a throwback photo of a picture I drew at school as a child titled, “What is my future dream?” Apparently, I aspired to be an optometrist. 

There was an eyewear store in my neighborhood and the way it seemed to always sparkle left an impression on me. Which, I’m pretty sure is the reason I chose to draw it. 

I can’t recall much of the day I actually drew this picture. I happened to come across it amongst some old photo albums my mother had kept.

I’m holding, what I can only assume are sunglasses, vertically in both hands. The green of the three-buttoned coat and the yellow background was intentionally chosen, as I felt they contrasted each other well.
