Okayama Korakuen Garden
I am from Okayama, Japan. I grew up in a quiet town in the Seto Inland Sea, surrounded by lush mountains and calm ocean waters. We don’t have many famous spots, but there is one I am proud of. One of the top three garden parks in Japan, Okayama Korakuen.
In the spring you can enjoy the cherry blossoms blooming, and in the summer nights it transforms into a fantasy garden. The beautiful illuminations all around the gardens are a sight to see. Park admission is free if you wear a yukata, and it’s been a fun annual tradition with my friends and I to dress up and enjoy the gardens.
