I would like to share one of my hobbies which is vintage clothing.
The other day I attended the Alameda Antique Fair, which is held on the first Sunday of the month. Buyers from all over the world gather at this market, and everything sold is at least 20 years old, or a repurposed item and oftentimes you are able to find some rare treasures. There are many pieces you’d find at a vintage shop in Japan for a fraction of the cost. I was able to purchase a shirt for $40 which would have cost me over $100 in Japan. Even if you are not a vintage clothing aficionado there are many great finds like records, furniture and accessories. Chatting with the friendly vendors is something you can only experience in the states as well. If you ever get the chance please visit the fair. It is also right by the ocean and has a great atmosphere.
