My earliest memories of traveling with my family are from a time before the internet, or perhaps it just wasn’t as mainstream yet. We didn’t make reservations for our accommodations and would bounce around different hotels trying to find a place with a vacancy. Eventually, we would always find a hotel that would take us in. These days things are much more convenient. You can easily search for different hotels on your phone, and book reservations online. I have more recollections of the searching of the hotels than the actual trip, but that in and of itself are fond memories for me.
