When I first came to the U.S., I was most impressed by the kindness of the Vietnamese family who let me live with them at the first share house in Texas.
The husband of the Vietnamese family had a very difficult time coming to the U.S. by himself when he was young, and since I had come to the U.S. by myself, he said he understood how hard it was.
His wife also always took good care of me and often treated me to delicious Vietnamese food.

I had to move from Texas to California, so I was there only for a few short months, but I still remember their kindness and the cuteness of the baby, and I am so grateful to them. I would like to go back to Texas to see them when I can.
