My recommendation for spring is to visit my hometown, the National Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki Prefecture. Hitachi-Seaside Park has an open area of 215 hectares. You can enjoy colorful flowers, plants, and trees in the park throughout the four seasons. In addition, there is an amusement park, prairie, cycling, forest athletics, barbecue, pottery making, historical old houses, restaurants, and more. The park also offers a view of the nearby Pacific Ocean coastline.

Especially in the spring, the park is home to spectacular fields of nemophila flowers. Blue sky, blue ocean, blue flower fields. You can see a very wide and beautiful view. As a side note, there is a big outdoor music festival every summer where many famous artists gather. Ibaraki Prefecture is at the bottom of Japan's attractiveness ranking, but I recommend it as one of the best places to visit in Japan.
