The place I want to go this summer by Aki

This year I will be able to see the fireworks in San Francisco on the 4th of July, so I am planning to go to San Francisco for the first time in about 5 years. I have been in the U.S. for 11 years, and for the first 5 years, we had a barbecue every year and went to see the fireworks afterwards, but recently I have been busy and haven't been able to go to see the fireworks.
Fireworks are a special event in Japan and I have loved them since I was a child. Each shot is filled with the thoughts and feelings of the pyrotechnicians, and the fireworks, which must have been very difficult to make, scatter with an instantaneous explosion. I think it is an art that moves tens of thousands of people and creates various feelings.
In Japan, there is a word "emotional joucho," but I wonder if it means something like "emotional" in English. When watching fireworks on a summer night, each person can enrich their emotions by thinking about the people they are watching with and the things that happened that summer. Fireworks on Independence Day in the U.S. also bring back a variety of people's feelings. Every year we are moved to tears by the newest fireworks, the biggest and most impressive ones, and the dynamic climax at the end.
It is also nice to spend some time soaking up the afterglow of the moment when the fireworks are over. The time afterwards to share the excitement with the people you saw it with is also good. I also like the rarity of being able to see the fireworks only twice a year, once for the countdown and once for Independence Day. I am looking forward to seeing it again this year.
