How to Treat and Improve Dry Hair by JAY

Sometimes, despite following the same hair care routine as those around us and seeking advice from professionals, we can still struggle with dry or greasy hair. Finding the perfect solution can be challenging, as everyone has different methods and preferences for hair care products. However, one common factor that often gets overlooked is diet.
Particularly for those with oily hair, an imbalanced or high-fat diet, along with sugary snacks, can exacerbate the problem. This can lead to a tendency to over-cleanse the hair with shampoo in an attempt to remove excess oils, leading to dryness. On the other hand, a poor diet can disrupt the production of natural oils on the scalp and hair, which again lead to dryness. Although there are various factors that can cause these symptoms, one thing you can begin implementing right away is to drink more water. I aim to drink 1 to 1.5 liters of water a day and have noticed improvements in the moisture of my hair and skin. While the effects may not be immediate, I believe it is beneficial for most people to make healthy improvements to their diet and have a bottle of water handy to drink every day.
