This is SHIN from VIANGE HAIR Dublin.
Today, I’d like to share my story and what inspired me to become a hairstylist.

When I was in my final year of high school and deciding on my future, hairstylists were often featured on TV and in magazines. I was inspired by how hairstylists could change someone’s appearance, bring them confidence, and even impact their lives. I also loved the idea of working in fashion, expressing creativity through hairstyles, and listening to music while working. Compared to the typical image I had of working in a company, this career looked much more exciting and fulfilling. That’s when I decided to become a hairstylist.

After actually becoming one, I realized it was much harder than I had imagined, and there were many difficult moments. However, I was able to continue because I truly love this profession, and because of the encouragement I received from my clients.

In fact, my spouse, whom I married two years ago, was originally one of my clients when I was working in Tokyo. Many of the people who helped with our wedding in Japan—including our photographer, wedding planner, and chef—were also people I met through my career as a hairstylist.

Being a hairstylist is a wonderful profession where you can bring happiness to others, and in return, find happiness yourself!
I look forward to continuing to share happiness with many more people through my work.
