Hi, I'm Yumi, a stylist at Viange hair.

What are the things that are essential to your life? -----

There are so many things that are essential in my life that I couldn't narrow it down to just one, so today I'm going to write down the three things that are essential in my life.

1, White rice
Freshly cooked white rice is the best. I am so lucky to have found a Japanese supermarket here in the U.S. and to be able to eat rice.

2, Cell Phone
I can easily contact and connect with my family and friends in Japan, talk to them through FaceTime, pay bills, shop, and even watch videos on my cell phone. It's really indispensable.

3, Scissors✂️☆☆
This is my most important and indispensable work tool. When I first started working as a hairdresser, I wasn’t even allowed to cut a client’s hair, but I couldn’t resist buying a pair of scissors for myself. I've been working as a hairdresser for 16 years, and I've always been using them ever since..

Yumi has had 5 years of experience in Japan and 8 years in the U.S. working with hair, more specifically short and medium length hair. Yumi caters to the customer and does her best to solve their hair concerns by learning every aspect about their hair. From what the customers hair type is, how the customer frequently takes care of their hair, and from there suggests a simple method on how to manage their hair without having to constantly see a hair stylist.

Not only does Yumi offer hair tips for her customers she also offers bridal make up, hair extensions, and also eyelash extensions.

Cancellation Policy

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Since the services are reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee will apply.

  • Less than 24-hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
  • "No shows" and “Same Day Cancellation” will also be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.
Credit card hold policy

We require a credit card hold for appointments needing three or more hours, such as Highlights, Straightening, Balayage, Ombre and/or any other combination of services. Thank you!
