Summer Hair Care Tips

Hello everyone! This is Yumi, a stylist at Viange FUGA.
As the weather gets hotter, many of us are spending more time at the pool. Have you ever noticed your hair feeling dry and brittle after swimming?
Pool water contains chlorine, which can strip your hair of its natural moisture and oils, leaving it dry and damaged. If you color your hair, chlorine can also cause your color to fade more quickly.
The good news is that there are a few simple ways to help protect your hair. Hair that is already saturated with clean water absorbs less chlorinated pool water than dry hair. Before getting into the pool, try wetting your hair with fresh water first. Applying a leave-in conditioner beforehand and tying your hair up can also help reduce chlorine exposure.
After swimming, it's important to rinse your hair as soon as possible to remove any chlorine residue. When shampooing, be gentle and avoid scrubbing too aggressively. Be sure to follow up with a rinse-out conditioner or a leave-in treatment to replenish moisture and keep your hair healthy and hydrated.
With just a little extra care, you can enjoy the pool all summer long while keeping your hair looking and feeling its best!
