The ultimate choice

Hello everyone, this is Yumi, a stylist at Viange FUGA.
How have you been lately?
One of the hair concerns I’ve been hearing a lot about recently—from both clients and friends—is gray hair. Many people ask whether they should start coloring their gray hair to cover it, or when the right time is to begin.
Deciding whether or not to start coloring gray hair can be a difficult choice. However, once you begin using traditional gray hair dye, it can become more difficult to achieve lighter colors later on. Also, when new hair grows in, the contrast at the roots can sometimes make gray hair stand out even more.
So, before deciding to use gray hair dye, why not try a different coloring approach first? By slightly changing the coloring method or tone, it’s often possible to blend gray hair more naturally.
For example, adjusting the tone of your hair color a little or adding natural-looking highlights without using bleach can help soften the appearance of gray hair. Choosing colors that grow out gradually—so the line between new growth and colored hair is less noticeable—can also help your hair look beautiful for longer without needing frequent touch-ups.
Everyone’s gray hair pattern and amount are different, so please don’t worry about it alone. Feel free to talk with your stylist anytime—we’re always happy to help you find the best option for you.
