Q: Tell us about yourself. Where are you from? What are some of your career highlights?
A: I’m originally from Yamanashi prefecture, Japan where I worked as a registered nurse. My career started when I came to the states, where I acquiredmy certification as an eyelash specialist. While going to a Japanese eyelash extension school in LA, I gathered models on my owntime to practice every single day so I can perfect my technique as well as maintain a high-quality customer experience.
Q: What's your specialty?
A: I have a way of creating not only beautiful, non-damaging lashes, but making those lashes last long. I carefully study my customers’ lashes, capturing their features and the way they grow to make sure that they’re sustainable. I also do volume lashes and color extensions depending on my customers’ desired look.
Q: Why did you become an eyelash specialist?
A: I remember I was captivated by my own eyelash extension experience. I loved how it dramatically changed my eyes, whilestill maintaining a natural look. Iwas always interested in learning about it and coming to the states was the perfect timing to kick-start my career.
Q:What do you love about your job?
A: Being able to bring my customers’ vision to life is the most rewarding experience ever. I love seeing my customers happy and satisfied with the outcome. The best part is when they come back for a refill, not only are some extensions still left but they still look beautifully intact. It’s really important for me to bring long-lasting satisfaction for all of my customers.
Q: Tell us about your aspirations.
A:
To create a long-lasting organic lash adhesive glue.
