When cutting a Bob the number one thing to consider is the line. Determining where and how the line is drawn will vastly change the outcome of a look. The slightest difference in a single millimeter or the line's angle will determine whether it suits the client. 

The first important line is the profile line. You want to note how the line looks from the front, the sides, and the back, and consider how all of these will connect.
