This is why we suggest setting a future date for our customers to revisit so that they can maintain a beautiful hairstyle all year round. Here is the standard guideline for how often you should visit depending on your hair length.
❍ SHORT HAIR
Short hair needs to match your facial structure. The average hair growth is about ½ inch per month, so it’s best to visit the hair salon once a month or once every month and a half to maintain a shorter hairstyle. Not only does trimming help to keep your hair’s healthy condition, but it also makes your hair beautiful.
❍ MEDIUM LENGTH HAIR
Medium hair needs a cut once every 2 to 3 months to get rid of the split ends and take some weight off. It’s easy to maintain a hairstyle with medium length hair, but to keep your hair looking clean and neat, touching it up is still important, so you don’t lose your style.
❍ LONG HAIR
Long hair needs a cut once every 2 to 3 months to clean up the ends and take some weight off. It might not be as noticeable with the back of your hair, but there’s nothing worse than having unsymmetrical layers in the front. Some people’s hair grows faster than the others, so make an appointment as soon as you start to notice uneven layers to get your hair touched up.
❍ MEN’S HAIR
For men’s short hairstyles, we recommend visiting once every month to maintain the style and shape. Also, hair growth is very noticeable for shaved heads, so getting it clean once every 2 to 3 weeks is ideal for a man with shaved sides or head.
