Major Nutrients for Hair Growth
Hi there, I’m Shin- your host for the VIANGE HAIR Blog about all hair concerns.
I will introduce foods that are necessary for healthy hair this time.
There are three major nutrients necessary for hair. "Protein, Minerals, and Vitamins."
Protein is the source of "keratin'', which helps form hair, so it is an essential nutrient for hair production. Foods that are high in protein can be divided into five categories.
Meat, Fish, Eggs, Dairy products, and Soybeans.
Just be careful with consuming excessive animal fats, which can harm your health.
Minerals are essential for hair growth because they play a crucial role in protein production.
Minerals also help increase the number of hair matrix cells, which is vital for hair production.
Zinc is known as a mineral that has a positive effect on hair.
Zinc-rich foods help grow healthy hair. We consume about 15 mg of zinc daily just by living, and it is said that it decreases due to drinking, smoking, and excessive stress. Oysters, pork liver, sardines, and nuts are high in zinc. These foods are not only rich in minerals but also provide protein.
Vitamins are necessary to maintain the scalp environment, which leads to healthy hair growth.
Vitamin A not only increases metabolism and promotes blood flow, but it also improves the scalp environment.
Vitamin B has a role in supporting the function of keratin, so it is essential to take vitamins along with protein and minerals to prevent thinning hair and hair loss due to diet.
Vitamin A-rich foods are carrot, pumpkin, eel, pork Liver, and chicken liver.
Vitamin B-rich foods are paprika, bananas, sweet potatoes, lean fish, and chicken fillet.
