Omotenashi

Hi there. I'm Shin, the host of the VIANGE HAIR Blog.
Recently, I have often heard from our customers who have traveled to Japan and expressed a heartfelt desire to go to Japan again. This makes me feel truly proud and happy.
I think what particularly moved these travelers was Japan's unique spirit of "Omotenashi" (hospitality).
Today, I would like to talk about "Omotenashi."
First, the word "omotenashi" has two meanings.
The first meaning is to interact with others with sincerity, without pretense.
The second meaning is to welcome and care for others with a selfless and genuine heart.
In "Omotenashi," we Japanese value three key aspects:
"Attention to detail," "Consideration," and "Thoughtfulness."
It’s not about treating everyone the same way; rather, it’s about individual satisfaction: "How can I make this person happy? How can I make them feel satisfied?"
This embodies the essence of "Omotenashi" and represents the highest level of hospitality.
We recently discussed the importance of providing personalized services tailored to each customer in our salon meeting.
We want to strive to engage with each customer with this spirit of "Omotenashi.”
